DESCRIPTION :

At the end of 2007, Adobe released a new version of Dreamweaver and a new version of their Creative Suite (CS3), of which Dreamweaver is one component. This version of Dreamweaver is also known as Dreamweaver 9 or Dreamweaver CS3.

This workshop-style course is designed for users who need to design a web site or intranet site. It covers all the essential skills required to get started, such as working with text, tables and graphics, linking pages, creating consistency through the use of templates and cascading styles, and adding navigation tools. It explores the issues of good and bad design. By the end of the course participants will have the necessary skills to design, build and publish a consistent looking sites that is easy to maintain.

This course is designed for Dreamweaver 9 (CS3) users but is also suitable for Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 or Adobe Dreamweaver 8 (CS2) users.

Most training providers cover this same material over two days, hence this course is quite intensive.

PRE-REQUISITES :
Many participants of this course have basic skills such as text editing and working with tables and graphics. Although not essential, students with these skills will be able to spot many parallels as they use Dreamweaver.
