Dreamweaver has long been the web design tool of choice for professional web developers. Originally developed by Macromedia, Dreamweaver was purchased by Adobe in 2005. The most current version at the time, MX 2004 was immediately re-released as Adobe Dreamweaver 8. In terms of functionality, very little changed, which is why we teach both versions using the same course material.
This workshop-style course is designed for users who need to design a web site or intranet site. It covers all the essential skills required to get started, such as working with text, tables and graphics, linking pages, creating consistency through the use of templates and cascading styles, and adding navigation tools. It explores the issues of good and bad design. By the end of the course participants will have the necessary skills to design, build and publish a consistent looking sites that is easy to maintain.
This course is designed for Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 or Adobe Dreamweaver 8 (CS2) users, but is also suitable for Adobe Dreamweave 9 (CS3) users.
Most training providers cover this same material over two days, hence this course is quite intensive. |
